On Saturday, August 29, Katie provided live musical entertainment for Jack's Steakhouse, an upscale, locally-owned restaurant in the up-and-coming Baldwin Park neighborhood.

Next weekend is opening night for "Tales of the Heart," a fundraiser for the annual charity concert in which Katie has performed for the past three years, Encore!  On February 27 and 28, "Tales of the Heart" will be presented at MOTiON inside Pleasure Island at 8:00pm, featuring solos and duets performed by singers from Encore!  "Tales of the Heart" will also be presented at Winter Garden Theatre on March 6 and 7 at 8:00pm, and March 8 at 2:00pm.  To find out what song Katie will be performing, be sure to come by to see the show!

Cast members: mark your calendars for Tuesday, January 6th!  Katie, along with other entertainment industry professionals, will be assisting in the rehearsal process for the brand new American Idol Experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios by performing as a contestant.  Her talent will hopefully put her into the 11am live show (1pm show as an alternate), so come out to the cast preview and vote for your favorite (Katie, of course)!

Kimonos has a new karaoke and sound system with thousands of new songs.  Come on by and sing a song or two!

Katie's performance schedule for the month of November has been updated!  Highlights for this month are nights at Kimonos and the beginning of Candlelight Processional concerts at Epcot.

The new calendar for October is ready!  This month's highlights include several dates at Kimonos, Katie's musical theatre class performing at Sherlock's, and, of course, Katie's birthday!

This week brought another another successful performance of Encore!  We raised awareness and funds for the worthy cause of United Arts of Central Florida and made some beautiful music for thousands of Broadway fans.  Encore! Cast Choir and Orchestra was featured on WMFE this time last year, and the video clip has now been added to the video gallery on Katie's Media page.  Enjoy!

The July calendar is ready!  Some highlights from this month include additional show dates at Kimonos (to supplement Katie's weekly Tuesday shows), the final performance for the Music Theatre class Katie is teaching at Four Corners Academy of the Arts, and the annual charity performance of Encore! Cast Choir and Orchestra. 

This year's Encore! show is entitled Anything Can Happen! Musical Tales from Broadway, and features songs from shows such as Spamalot, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, BKLYN, and Blast!  To order advance tickets and obtain your parking pass, please visit www.encorecentral.org.

Katie will be performing with friend and colleague Tim Pappas at Cagan's Summer Bash this Saturday every hour on the hour from 11am to 2pm.  This performance will be to promote Four Corners Academy of the Arts and will take place in front of the studio at Cagan Crossings.
